Jake Smith

Mr. Jake Smith, 92 of Big Spring, TX died on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Oak Ridge Manor in Brownwood, Texas.

A graveside service for Mr. Smith will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Hillside Memorial Gardens with his daughter Diane Biggers officiating. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home and will be livestreamed from www.bellcypertseale.com.

Mr. Smith was born on September 24, 1929 in Dunn, TX to Arthur P. Smith and Alice Curtis. He married Opal Jean Smith and later Betty Jean Smith who both preceded him in death. Jake graduated from Hermleigh High School in 1947. He worked as an electrical supervisor for Texaco at the Midland division from 1964 to 1984 when he retired.
