James Edward Beaver

Mr. James Edward Beaver, 81 of Sweetwater,TX formerly of Fluvanna, TX died on Sunday, July 08, 2018 at his residence in Sweetwater, TX.

Services for Mr. Beaver will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 , at 2 o'clock PM at First United Methodist Church in Sweetwater, TX with Reverend Ryan Strebeck officiating. Internment will follow at Fluvanna Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Beaver was born on Friday, August 21, 1936 in Snyder, TX to Leo and Opal(Mitchell) Beaver.He married Lynda J. Smith on February 17, 1956. She preceded him in death on May 30, 2001. He later married Ozane Pylant on Saturday, September 14, 2002 in Sweetwater. James was a farmer and rancher in the Fluvanna area for most of his life.He was past vice president in 1969 and past president in 1970 of Young Farmer of Texas and and a board member for many years, he was also Past president of Midwest electric and a board member from 1976-1997, a board member of Golden Spread, Fluvanna School Board, and ASCS. James was very active all his life in the Fluvanna and Sweetwater Methodist Churchs.James was currently a member of First United Methodist Church in Sweetwater, TX and the Downtown Bible class. He loved to travel and was a member of an RV club. James was also an avid bridge player and square dancer.
