Jeanelle Allen

Jeanelle Allen, 88, formerly of Snyder, TX passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019 in Lewisville, Texas.

Services for Mrs. Allen will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at 10:00 AM at Snyder Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Jeanelle, the second of four children, was born in Ballinger, TX to Herman and Mabel (Luttrell) Glenn on October 4th, 1930.

Jeanelle grauduated from Crane High School and went on to secretarial school. She had a long career in banking in Snyder, Seagraves and Odessa, eventually becoming a loan officer and a Vice President.

Jeanelle and Keith Allen met in Snyder and were married on June 25, 1954 in Roswell, New Mexico. They were married for 60 years, until Keith passed away in 2014. Keith and Jeanelle had two daughters, Beth and Keitha, both born in Snyder.

Jeanelle was preceded in death by her parents, husband and older brother Jim Glenn. She is survived by her daughters and their spouses Wayne and Beth Pickett of Lewisville, TX and Vint and Keitha Vincent of Dallas, TX, as well as grandson Christopher Pickett of Brooklyn, NY.

Jeanelle is also survived by her brother and his spouse, Bill and Patsy Glenn of Georgetown, TX and sister Dana Lawson of Rockwall, TX, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 6 PM to 7 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
