Jo Ann Prince

Jo Ann (Henderson) Prince was born to Harry and Ruth (Rodocker) Henderson on September 1,1936 in Wichita Falls, Texas. On Good Friday, April 18, 2025, at the age of 88 JoAnn went to be with her Heavenly Father. She had fond memories with her little sister Linda of their childhood in Wichita Falls and Galveston. JoAnn moved from Muleshoe to Snyder while she was in high school. She met and married her sweetheart Billy “Speedy” Prince, and they raised three beloved children, Janie, Timmy, and Scotty. She delighted in her family and always made sure to make each celebration special for her kids and grandchildren. JoAnn and Speedy owned and operated Friendly Flower Shop for many years. She was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church. After her retirement she stayed active participating in community events with her many good friends, and you could always find her helping Scotty out at Snyder Nursery. Her smile and hospitality will be remembered by all her met her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Speedy, as well as her children Timmy, and Mark and Janie McCormick.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 10 o'clock AM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ryan Ford officiating. Deacon John Bane will lead the graveside service at Snyder Cemetery. No visitation is planned.

The family is extremely grateful for the care and compassion Jo Ann received at Kent County Nursing Home in Jayton Texas at the end of her life.
