Mr. Joe Falls was born October 5, 1926 and died peacefully surrounded by his family July 24, 2021. He lived a full life for 94 years.
Services for Mr. Falls will be Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Ira Baptist Church with Reverend Ben Moore officiating. Services are under the direction of Bell Cypert Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Falls was born to Edwin and Minnie (Eiland) Falls in Ira, Texas on October 5, 1926. He married Wanda Jean Glass on February 14, 1953, in Portales, New Mexico. They were married a wonderful 67 years. She preceded him in death on February 23, 2020. All of Joe’s adult life he spent farming in Scurry County. He worked for R. E. Smith, Newmont Oil Company and Mesa Pipeline. He was an active member of the Ira Mason Lodge #934 until it disbanded and then he became a member of the Snyder Lodge. He was a Deacon at Ira Baptist Church and was a leader on the Midwest Electric Board.
Mr. Falls is survived by his
Three daughters,
Marsha (Larry) Sullenger of Snyder, TX
Andrea “Andi"
(Jim) Mason of Andrews, TX and
Paula (Sid) Perry of Twin Falls, Idaho.
Two grandsons,
Corey (Karyn) Mason of Carrollton,
Brooks Perry of Sandpoint, Idaho
One granddaughter,
Allison (Phil) Hubbs of Twin Falls, Idaho.
Four great granddaughters,
Kate Mason, Violet Hubbs, Maggie Hubbs and Daphne Hubbs.
He was preceded in death by his

W.T. (Pat) and J.E. (Jiggs) Falls and
3 sisters
Ethel Verle Young, Georgene Galloway and Jane Forsyth.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 6 to 7 PM at Bell Cypert Seale Funeral Home.
The family requests that memorial donations in Mr. Falls name be made to Ira Baptist Church, Ira Cemetery Association, or your favorite charity.
The family would like to thank the staff at Good Life and Cogdell Hospice for their support and care.
