Joe Michael Poe, 77, passed away on Sunday evening February 12, 2023 in Lubbock, TX.

Mike was born to Billy Joe Poe and Dorothy Arlene Owens on August 6, 1945 in Longview, TX.  Mike was a master carpenter and loved to build and remodel.  He loved to fish, golf and spend time with his friends playing 31.  He was a dedicated supporter of the American Legion here in Snyder.  Mike served two tours of duty in Vietnam in the Navy abord the aircraft carrier USS Kearsarge CVS 33, 1965-1968

He is survived by his wife Sandi Sutterman of Snyder, brothers Gary Poe (Sammie) of Snyder and David Poe of North Padre Island.  One Sister Kathryn Poe Austin (Ted) of Snyder.  He has two daughters Karen Elizabeth Kleindel (Kyle) of Lynden, WA , Jennifer Davidson of Chino, CA. One stepdaughter Debbie Sutterman (Sam) of Billings, MT. He had many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life at the American Legion in Snyder on Feb. 23 at 6:00 pm.
