Mr.Keith Thomas Collier, 85 of Snyder,TX died on Tuesday, August 07, 2018 at his residence in Snyder, TX.
Service for Mr. Collier will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 , at 2:00 PM at 37th St. Church of Christ with Brady Collier, Will Collier and Jeremiah Boatright officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens . Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Keith Thomas Collier was born on Friday, September 30, 1932 in Hawley, TX to Thomas Mirt and Hettie " Lollar" Collier. He married Janice Hughes on March 02, 1951 in Fluvanna, Texas.
Mr. Collier was in Law Enforcement for 36 years. 32 of those years he served as Sheriff. He was President of the Sheriff's Association, was the recipient of the Tom Tellepson award and the Bill Decker award, Director of Texas Association of Counties, and President of West Central Texas Law Enforcement.
Locally he was a Goldcoater for the Snyder Chamber of Commerce, Director of the Noah Project, member of the Snyder Lions Club, and served on the Cogdell Memorial Hospital Board.
He was also a member of 37th Street Church of Christ and belonged to several RV Groups.
