Kim Douglas Hall

Mr. Kim Douglas Hall, 68, of Snyder,TX died on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 in Lubbock, TX after a tragic accident.

Services for Mr. Hall will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at 10 o'clock AM at First United Methodist Church in Snyder with Reverend Bruce Parsons, of Champion Baptist Church, and Reverend Kevin Phillips, FUMC, officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens in Snyder. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Kim was born August 19, 1949, in Loraine Hospital to Maxine and Ernest Hall. He graduated from Snyder High School in 1967 and attended Abilene Commercial College. In the Fall of 1967, he met his wife to be, Kathy Merket, in September, then became engaged Christmas Eve and were married in Champion Baptist Church on April 27, 1968. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. In 1969, Kim enlisted in the US Air Force. He served in Taiwan with TDY to Vietnam - Tan Son Nhut Air Base. He served 3 years and was honorably discharged to care for the family farm as his father was ill.

In November 1972, son Michael Douglas was born. In September 1977, Scott Allen was born, He graduated from WTC in 1978 with an associates degree. Kim retired from working in the oilfield in 2015. He was an active member of First United Methodist Church and was a member of Kum Dubl Sunday School class. He was also a member of the Sweetwater Gun Club and loved hunting, fishing, playing 42, and serving as a bus tour guide. He was the best husband, Dad and Papa.

Kim was a servant at heart and loved his family and friends. In true Kim Hall fashion, he will make a final gift on this earth through tissue donation.

Visitation will be held from 6 PM to 7 PM Friday, July 27, 2018, at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
