Larry Glen Lee, 72, of Snyder passed away Friday, January 24, 2020 in Lubbock, Texas following a brief illness.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p. m., on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home, 3101 college Ave, Snyder, Texas.
Services will be held at 10 a. m., Monday, January 27, 2020 at Colonial Hill Baptist Church, 3506 El Paso Ave, Snyder, Texas. Graveside will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens, Snyder, Texas.
Larry was born in Rotan, Texas, May 4, 1947. The oldest of three children to Claud Lewis (Chillie) Lee and Junelle Thigpen Lee. Larry was raised in the Lloyd Mountain Community and cherished the friends he grew up with. Larry served in the National Guard and worked for Halliburton for 20 years. He owned Larry's Trucks and Stuff since 1994. He was the longest serving and founding member of the Snyder Wheels Car Club; serving since it's start.
He is preceded in death by his father Chillie Lee; mother, Junelle Lee; wife of 43 years, Brenda Benton Lee; and, brother, Danny Lee.
He is survived by wife, Lana Lee of Snyder; sister, Claudia and her husband Andre' Sanchez both of Snyder; son Steve Lee and his wife, Melissa both of Snyder. The love of his life were his grandsons, Sterling Lee, and Colton Lee both of Snyder.
