Larry Charles Neves April 7, 1953 – January 28, 2025
Larry Charles Neves, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on January 28, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and unwavering kindness.
Born on April 7, 1953, Larry lived a life full of adventure and dedication. After graduating from high school, Larry worked for E. D. Walton construction for 10 years. From there he moved to Wyoming and started his career with Chevron building a pipeline for 10 years. He worked as a logistical supervisor for Chevron for 35 years, a career that took him across the world to Papua New Guinea, Nigeria, Angola, and Kazakhstan. No matter where his work led him, Larry remained deeply connected to his family, always carrying home in his heart.
A man of many talents, Larry found joy in ranching, woodworking, leather crafting, and games. His creativity was evident in everything he did, and his hands were rarely idle—whether he was building, fixing, or creating something beautiful to share with those he loved. His work was always a reflection of his character: thoughtful, precise, and filled with love.
Those who knew Larry will remember his goofy sense of humor, his honorable and giving nature, and the warmth he brought to every room. He was a hardworking, responsible man of integrity and deeply devoted to his family. His love was steady and true, a guiding light for all who were fortunate to know him.
Larry was preceded in death by his son, Chris Neves; his brother, Toby Neves; and his parents, Ruby and Roy Neves. He is survived by his loving wife, Dale Neves; his son, Tyler Neves and spouse Theresa; his daughter, Katie Knox and spouse Josh; his grandchildren, Christopher and Layna Neves and Kaye and Madelyn Knox; his brothers, Tracy and Nicky Neves; and his sister, Kim Neves. His family and friends will forever cherish the countless memories and lessons he shared with them.
Larry’s life was one of love, laughter, and service to others. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
