Laverne Lee

Mrs. LaVerne Lee, 94, of Snyder,TX died on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at her home in Snyder.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Lee will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Hillside Memorial Gardens with Mr. Ricky Williams officiating. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

LaVerne Lee was born on February 26, 1929 in Snyder, TX to Joe and Velma(Williams) Middleton. She married Melvin on Sunday, February 26, 1950, in Snyder, TX. He preceded her in death on July 20, 2002 after 52 years of marriage. LaVerne was a member of Colonial Hill Baptist Church and actually painted the picture they often use in promotions. She was an accomplished artist and a supporter of the Snyder Palette Club. She held all positions in the Pallet Club proudly.

She is survived

2 Grandchildren,

Staci Brown and husband Stephen, McKinney, TX,

Cody Lee, San Angelo, TX; and

3 Great Grandchildren,

Makayla, Mason, and Max Brown.

She was preceded in death by her

Parents,  Joe and Velma Middleton;

Husband, Melvin Lee; and

1 Brother, Billy Joe Middleton
