Mr. Lee Arthur Presswood, 85 of Snyder,TX died on Monday, November 1, 2021 at his residence in Snyder, Texas

A memorial service for Mr. Presswood will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church with Reverend Ben Reid officiating. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Presswood was born on November 22, 1935 in Abilene TX to C. W. and Doris (Ward) Presswood. He married Margaret Bridges on April 6, 1957 in Lubbock, Texas. She preceded him in death on December 29, 2011. Lee attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene and was on the rodeo team. Lee later became the principal at the Junior High School and High School in Comanche, Texas for 10 years. He moved to Snyder where he became assistant principal at Snyder High School for several years. He also was the principal at Northeast and East Elementary schools in Snyder. He later became the principal at Snyder Christian school. He was also the president of Western Texas College Board of Directors.

He is survived by :

1) Son - Vernon Presswood, Snyder, TX

1) Daughter - Margie (Presswood) Virchis, Fort Worth, TX

2) Granddaughters - Lisa Lee, Germany and McKenzie Stalarcheck, Coahoma, TX

2) Grandson - Bishop Presswood, Celina, TX and Alex Virchis, Fort Worth, TX

1) Great Grand Daughter - Mia Lee, Germany

He was preceded in death by:

His parents C. W. and Doris Presswood

Wife - Margaret Presswood

Sister - Gail Killough

Brother - Clarence Presswood
