Lorita was born to J.C. and Dena Stirling at the family farm in Snyder on July 20, 1939. She was known to her family and friends as a kind soul who was full of life. Lorita was an avid fan of the Ira Bulldogs, and she loved to attend their basketball and football games. She was devoted to her departed husband, Don, and the two of them were involved in many civic organizations over the years. Lorita loved to research her family's geneaology, and she spent many hours knitting and cross-stitching beautiful gifts for the people she loved. On Sunday mornings, she led the Ira United Methodist Church congregation in song, and her church family and faith were very important to her.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Keller, and wife Julie of San Antonio; daughter, Karmen Dosser, and husband Ron of Woodville; mother, Dena Faye Stirling of Snyder; brother, Bob Stirling of Snyder; sister, Joy Morrison and husband Keith of Big Spring, 7 grandchildren, Scott Lynch, Shannon Williams, Meredith Dosser, Andrew Dosser, Simon Keller, Andrew Keller, and Rachel Keller, as well as 7 great grandchildren and many close nieces and nephews.
Lorita was preceded in death by her husband, Don Keller; her father, J.C. Stirling and granddaughter, Cassandra Clark.
