Mrs. Maria Josefa (Perez) Patterson, 75 of Snyder,TX died on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 in Lubbock, Texas

Services for Mrs. Patterson will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at 10:00 AM at First United Methodist with Reverend Kevin Phillips officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Maria was born on September 14, 1943 in Alice, TX to Manuel and Melida(Morina) Perez, Jr..She married Robert Patterson on July 02, 1967 in San Diego, TX.. Maria graduated from the University of Texas Pharmacy school in 1967 as valedictorian. She and Robert moved to Houston for 4 years before moving to Snyder in 1972 and joining Roberts fathers pharmacy at Snyder Drug. They ran the pharmacy until 1999 and then continued to work at United Pharmacy until 2009. After retiring, they were able to travel extensively and see the world. Robert and Maria were married for 53 wonderful years.

Maria was a very active member of First United Methodist Church and the Rotary Club of Snyder.

She is survived by

Daughter - Amy Drake and husband Mark, Lubbock, TX
2)Granddaughters - Devin Crenshaw, Philadelphia, PA

2)Sisters - Rosa Saenz, Alice, TX
Estella Conley, Katy, TX

She was preceded in death by:
Her parents and 2 brothers: Manuel Perez III and Hector Luis Perez

Visitation will be held Friday, April 19, 2019 from 6 PM to 7 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
