Mary Kathryn Higgins

Mary Kathryn (Kat) Higgins passed away on December 1, 2024 at the age of 92. A graveside service will be held for Mrs. Higgins 2 PM Friday, December 06, 2024, at Hillside Memorial Gardens with Mr. David Higgins Officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale funeral Home.

She was born in Ralls, Texas to Noah and Ruth Brown and was the beloved wife of Dalton Higgins for 37 years.

She is survived by daughters Becky Koch (Joe) of Umbarger Texas and Kathy Legge (Curtis Landon) of Snyder Texas. One sister Carolyn Withers of Snyder Texas. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Kat worked for the Snyder Independent School District for many years to include working in the Head Start system, working at Central Elementary and driving a school bus. Her bus students were very special to her.  After retiring from the school system she spent time traveling with her close friends and cherished the time spent with them.

A visitation will be held 6-7 PM Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
