Maxine Riggins, the beloved matriarch, passed peacefully at the age of 90, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion that will continue to inspire generations to come. Born on July 7, 1934. Maxine was blessed to share over 60 beautiful years of marriage with the love of her life, Leslie
Riggins. Together, they built a remarkable legacy that includes 10 children, 36 grandchildren, over 50 great-grandchildren, and more than 10 great-great grandchildren. Maxine’s greatest joy was found in the family she and Leslie nurtured and cherished.

Maxine was always a diligent student of god's word. She spent her life seeking truth. Maxine was more than just a woman of faith; she was a caretaker at heart, touching  the lives of everyone she encountered. Her hands worked tirelessly, and her heart overflowed with compassion and love. She was a hard worker, a trusted mother, and a woman whose strength was matched only by her gentleness.

One of her greatest joys was meeting and spending time with her great-grandchild and great-great-grandchildren,
witnessing the fruits of her labor of love extend through generations. Her wisdom and love will forever echo in our hearts.

As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate her beautiful journey on this earth, knowing that she is resting and awaiting the fulfillment of the scriptures found at John 5:28,29 which reads: "28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice  29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment."
