Mrs. Mellie Jane McCarty, 89 of Snyder,TX died on Tuesday, October 09, 2018 in Webster, TX. .

Services for Mrs. McCarty will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 , at 10:00 AM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Reverend Kenneth Martin officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. McCarty was born on Sunday, September 01, 1929 in Bairdstown, TX to Hosie and Mary (Dollar) Ward .She married Leland Henry McCarty on Friday, September 02, 1949. He preceded her in death on February 9, 2001. Mellie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ira.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 12, 2018 from 6 PM to7 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Lunch will be served at the Ira Methodist Church following the service.
