Mr. Melvin Lewis, 73 of Snyder,TX died on Monday, June 04, 2018 at his residence in Snyder, Texas.

Graveside services for Mr. Lewis will be held on Thursday, June 07, 2018 , at 10:00 AM at Cottonwood Flats Cemetery with Mr. Jimmy Moore officiating. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Lewis was born on Saturday, March 31, 1945 in Dunn, TX to Richard and Jeanetta (Caruthers) Lewis.He married Paula Ann Helms on August 14, 1965. She preceded him in death on October 28, 1999. He later married Rebecca Sumerlin on May 21, 2001. She also preceded him in death on March 5, 1917. Melvin was a oilfield pumper and a rancher.

He is survived by:
Son - Leddy Lewis and wife Denise, Hermleigh, TX
Grandson - Zant Lewis, Hermleigh, TX
He was also preceded in death by:

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 06, 2018 from 6 PM to 7 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Family and friends will leave the funeral home at 9:15 AM Thursday morning to go to Cottonwood Flats cemetery
