Miss Nelda Rae Morgan, 81, of Snyder, TX, died on Friday, January 26, 2024, at Snyder Oaks Care Center in Snyder.

A Graveside Service for Miss Morgan will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 11:00 AM in Hobbs, New Mexico at Memory Gardens with Pastor Chris Donaho officiating. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Miss Morgan was born on April 23, 1942, in Coleman, TX to Ed and Iva Lottie (Stroope) Morgan. For more than 32 years, she served as a clerk for the State of New Mexico in the Oil Conservation Division. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hobbs, New Mexico. She enjoyed holidays spent with her family and playing a competitive game of pill bottle bowling with her great-great nephew, Corbyn.

She is survived by

2 Great-Nieces,

Samantha Taylor and husband Michael, Snyder, TX,

Katelyn Harshfield and husband Koty, Clairemore, OK;

1 Great-Nephew,

Andrew Thompson, Tulsa, OK;

and 1 Great-Great Nephew,

Corbyn Taylor, Snyder, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Iva Lottie Morgan and 1 sister.
