Nelda Deane Randolph

September 6, 1947 — January 19, 2024

Mrs. Nelda Deane Randolph, 76, of Snyder passed away January 19, 2024, at Crown Point Health Suites in Lubbock, Texas after a long battle with complications of diabetes.

Services will be held at 10 AM, Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Bell Cypert Seale Funeral Home in Snyder, Texas with Pastor Mandy Pena officiating. A family burial planned in Breckenridge, TX. Services are under the direction of Bell Cypert Seale Funeral Home.

Nelda was born September 6, 1947, in Breckenridge, Texas and was raised in Snyder by her parents, Sam Martin Jr. and Olive Yvonne (Noble) Martin.  She married her husband of 41 years Ronald Scott Randolph on January 3, 1983, in Sweetwater, Texas. She was thrilled and blessed to be called Nana to 9 grandchildren.

Nelda had the kindest, sweetest heart and soul possessing a true nurturing spirit. She was a loving wife, mother, nana, sister, and daughter like no other. She graduated from Snyder High School and later put herself through and graduated from LVN school at Western Texas College. She worked many years for the local nursing homes and Cogdell Hospital as a CNA and then LVN. After retiring from Cogdell she care for patients through Home Health Nursing, privately for individuals and her own family members when their health failed them. She had immense joy in caring for others. She proved her caretaking nature beginning when she was a kid and being the eldest of 4 siblings, she had her hands full. Also known as the "Crazy Cat Lady" a stray cat never lacked for love and food within a mile of her house.

She loved sitting with family, playing cards and games and also gardening. She had a special talent for poetry and story writing. She amazed us all with her creativity. For many years, she was a member of the local "Writers in the Wind" Poetry Club, which she treasured along with her friendships with the other members. She made holiday meals extra special with her cooking and baking, peach cobbler her most delicious specialty, a tradition that must carry on with the next generation!

God truly blessed all that knew her and was lucky enough to call her family with an angel on earth.
