Neva Joyce Fuqua

Mrs. Neva Joyce Fuqua, 91 of Hermleigh,TX died on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. .

A private family graveside service for Mrs. Fuqua will be held at Hillside Memorial Gardens with Reverend Joshua Smith officiating. A community memorial service will be held at a later date. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Joyce was born on April 18, 1929 in Snyder, TX to Cecil and Mary (Walker) Hall. She married Brice Fuqua on April 08, 1955 in Colorado City, TX. He preceded her in death on October 7, 2018. Joyce was a school teacher for 35 years having taught in Hermleigh, Ira, and Hobbs. She received her degree in home economics from Texas Tech University and her Master's degree of Elementary education from Sul Ross University. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Hermleigh, Historic Scurry County, Retired Teachers Association and Altrurian Daughters. Her hobbies were cooking and volunteering.

She was preceded in death by:
