Mrs. Nina Jones, 86, formerly of Snyder, died on Sunday, December 5, 2021 in Midland, TX.
Services for Mrs. Jones will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church with Reverend Ben Reid officiating. Internment will follow at Snyder Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jones was born on April 29, 1935 in Comanche, TX to James Alvin and Myrtle Dee (Hilliard) Steele. She married James Oscar Jones on Sunday, July 26, 1953 in Comanche, Texas. He preceded her in death in 2015.
She was very involved at First Baptist Church of Snyder. She loved singing in the choir, sponsoring summer youth mission trips, teaching the young adult Sunday School class and working with the Church Builders Association.
Her passion was hospitality; whether it be family birthdays, holiday meals, Sunday School parties, wedding showers, or baby showers, or friendly get-togethers. She was always serving others.
