Nita Dianne Brooks

Mrs.Nita Dianne Brooks, 70 of Colorado City,TX died on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Mitchell County Hospital in Colorado City, TX.

A memorial service for Mrs. Brooks will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Reverend James Williams officiating. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Brooks was born on October 18, 1952 in Snyder, TX to Robert Compton Hardy and Frankie Williams. She married Billy Brooks on January 4, 1971 in Snyder, TX.. Nita was a member of Avenue D Baptist Church and worked as a scrub tech in the OR for both Cogdell Memorial Hospital and Mithchell County Hospital for 40 years. She had a contagious laugh and smile, caring ,kind and nurturing. The best cook. For as soft and sweet as she was she was tough as nails.

Daughter - Tyra Martinez, Snyder, TX

Son - Sidney Brooks, Roby, TX

Brother - Buddy Hardy and wife Amy, Ira, TX

Half Brother - Dalton Cribbs, Azle, TX

Grandchildren - Nicholas and River Martinez

She was preceded in death by:

Her parents - Robert and Frankie Hardy

Half Brother - Allen Cribbs

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 9 AM to  10 AM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
