Norma Joy Early

Joy left this world Thursday, April 17, 2025, to join her Heavenly Father and to be reunited with her one and only love, Thomas Vernon (T.V.) Early. A funeral service for Mrs. Early will be held at 10 AM Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Rick Williams officiating, burial will follow at Snyder Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Joy was born on November 11, 1933 in Neinda, TX, to William L. and Greeta Flo Maynard. She and T.V. (she called him Tommy) married on June 3, 1951 in Hamlin, TX. She was a wife and homemaker until after having her 5 children, then she became mother, cook, chauffeur, seamstress and peacemaker. She worked at Hugh Boren and Son for many years before going to work at West Texas State Bank as an outside teller, from which she retired. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Snyder Fire Department Auxiliary, she attended Western Texas College and received an Associate of Arts Degree, and found time to be a realtor. Joy loved to sew and her passion was quilting. She spent many hours with her friends at the Senior Center working on quilts.
