Patsy "Pat" Gene Maxfield

Mrs. Patsy "Pat" Gene Jackson Maxfield, 85 of Snyder, Texas died on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 in Abilene at Hendrick Medical Center.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Maxfield will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Hillside Memorial Gardens with Reverend John Pena officiating. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Maxfield was born on November 27, 1936 in Belton, TX to Elidge and Mary (Pickens) Jackson. She married William Allen (Yank) Maxfield on December 5, 1950 in Hobbs, New Mexico. Patsy was strong willed and independent her entire life as she was living on her own and making her own living at 12 years old. She was a partner of Snyder Iron & Metal for 38 years until her retirement in January of 2014. After she retired, she lovingly took care of her husband of 64 years until his passing in November 2014. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan that never missed a game while drinking a cup of hot black coffee. She was also a fan of Elvis Presley. Patsy thoroughly enjoyed attending any and all sporting events involving her children and grandchildren. She was a loving and protective mother and grandmother.
