Renee Norwood, 79, lovingly called Mom, Grandmer, and Aunt Nay-Nay, passed away on

August 2nd, 2024, in her daughters home in Big Spring, surrounded by family. Services are

beginning at 2 PM, both at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. Her body will be laid to rest at

Dunn Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Born September 20th, 1944 to L.T and Margie Lou Nail in Snyder, she remained a local for the

majority of her life. She married Rudolph Norwood, who sadly preceded her in death back in

2001. She was well known as a God loving family woman, dropping everything to aid her loved

ones. Renee had a special soft spot in her heart for her grandkids and great grandkids.

Renee enjoyed her jigsaw puzzles and playing card games with her family. The television was

always tuned in on gameshows and westerns, or as she liked to call them “shoot ‘em ups.” She

was a traveler at heart, every summer exploring the United States. Her personality is best

described as compassionate, tough, strong willed, and loving. She truly was the glue that held her

family together. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed in knowing her.
