Mr. .Rod Palmer Waller, 90 of Mesa,AZ formerly of Snyder,died on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX
Services for Mr. Waller will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church with Reverend Ryan Ford officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Waller was born on August 31, 1931 in Pahuska, OK to Jess Edward Waller and Syvola Wood. He married Mary Kramer on November 20, 2010 in Tulsa, OK. He was preceded in death by his first wife Annette Waller on December 11, 2009. Rod was a member of First United Methodist church in Snyder and served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War. Mr. Waller owned and operated Arrow Construction in Snyder for 20 years. Rod served on numerous church and community commitees and and numerous boards. A few being CRMWD and the Council of Governments. Rod also served on the Snyder City Council for 8 years, was County Judge for 11 years as well as serving two terms as Snyder's Mayor. He was also an avid golfer.
