Rosa Lee Crow

Mrs. Rosa Lee Crow, 87 of Snyder, Texas passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023, in Snyder at GoodLife Senior Living.

Services for Mrs. Crow will be held Friday, November 3, 2023, at 11 O’clock AM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Pastor Reid Johnson of Colonial Hill Baptist Church officiating.  Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens.  Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Crow was born on April 29, 1936, in Baird, Texas, to James and Lorene (Poindexter) Franklin.  She married Wayne Crow on April 23, 1955.  He preceded her in death February 24, 1994.

Mrs. Crow loved the Lord and was a long-time member of the Colonial Hill Baptist Church and the Love Sunday School Class.  Over the years, she was a Homemaker, Beauty Operator, and a Department Head at Wal-Mart.

Mrs. Crow loved family and enjoyed family get-togethers as evidenced by the thousands of pictures she possessed.  She also loved researching Genealogy.  Mrs. Crow was an avid quilter.  In her volunteer service at the Scurry County Senior Center, she helped sew many quilts with the ladies at the Center.  She loved spending time at the Center.  In 2022, Mrs. Crow had the most Volunteer hours at the Center.

Mrs. Crow is survived by one Son, Kenneth Lee Crow and Wife, Nancy, of Abilene, TX; one Daughter, Melynda Anne Sturdevant and Husband, Chris, of Amarillo, TX; one Sister, Doris Henderson and Husband, A.J., of Snyder, TX; two Brothers, E.L. Franklin and Wife, Linda, of Snyder, TX, and Don Franklin and Wife, Zelph, of Snyder, TX; a Daughter-in-Law, Marie Crow of Grannis, AR; Nine Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, James and Lorene Franklin; her Husband, Wayne Crow; and her Son, James Wayne Crow.
