Rosemarie Trudy Dreissagacker Hunter was born on June 28, 1941 to Wilhelm and Katherine “Kathe” Dreissagacker. Rosy was called Home by her Lord and Savior on January 20, 2021.
Rosy married army soldier Keith Hunter on April 29, 1960. Into this union four children followed, Kathy, Linda, Tommy and Ricky.
With unconditional love, Rosy, mother, mom & nana served her Lord, her family and her church.
Rosy’s greatest accomplishment was knowing Jesus. Another great accomplishment was being sworn in as a United States Citizen in Amarillo, Texas on May 1, 1972.
Rosy worked as a seamstress at Charlene’s Drapery for many years. She loved her church and faithfully served Calvary Baptist Church as the Sunday School clerk for 45 years. She also sang in the church choir for 45 years. She loved bowling and yardwork but most of all she loved taking care of her children and grandchildren. She was an immaculate housekeeper and a wonderful cook. She was famous for her German potato salad, potato soup, cabbage rolls and included a flare of German style in all she prepared.
Rosy was survived by her husband of 60 years, Keith Hunter of Hermleigh. One daughter and son in law, Kathy and Zane Sterling of Knapp, Tx.
Two sons and daughters in law, Tommy & Jayna Hunter and Ricky and Wendy Hunter of Snyder, Tx

Numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilhelm and Katherine Dreissagacker, 7 brothers, Willi, Ewald, Reinhold, Rudi, Dieter, Erhard & Klous Dreissagacker and 2 sisters Emmy Ulrich and Hedwig Medinat and one daughter Linda Ingram.
