Scott J. Key

We lost our Marine, Scott J Key, this past Monday, January 27, 2025, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX. A graveside service has been set February 8, 2025 at 2 PM at Hillside Memorial Gardens with Hospice chaplain Kinney Robbinson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Key was born on June 5, 1962, to Jimmie and Delores (Stubbs) Key in Snyder, TX. He served for 28 years active duty and reserves. He rose to the rank of Gunnery Sargent. He was a Marine to the bone. At one time he was a Marine Recruiter.

He is survived by his,

Wife,

Deborah Donald-Key (and Elsa Claire their beloved yorkie);

Both Parents,

Jimmie and Delores Key;

2 Brothers,

Steve Key and wife Susan,

Tim Key and Yvonne;

1 Sister-in-law,

Kelli Smith and husband Mark;

Many Nieces and nephews;

and 3 Great-Nieces and Nephews.

He is preceded in death by his,

Grandparents,

Marvin and Opal Key.
