Sharon Bruns

Sharon Bruns passed from this world on February 21, 2022, at the age of 81.

She was born in Osage County, Webb City, Oklahoma on March 7, 1940, to Kenneth R. and Leona M. Babcock.  She attended Snyder High School and graduated in 1958.  She married Roland James Bruns Sr. on Feb 11, 1966.  She was a charter member and attended Trinity United Methodist Church, Snyder, TX, and taught Sunday School for 35 years.  She was Past Worthy Patron of Chapter of Order of The Eastern Star. Long- time member of the TOPS Club and Atheneum Study Club. Her favorite quote is “All things work together for good who are called according to his people and works”. She “Lived” her life in preparation for Heaven.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roland J. Bruns Sr., brother Steve Babcock and sister-in-law Linda Babcock, son Roland J. (James) Bruns Jr.

She is survived Tammy Bruns of Snyder, Victor Bruns and wife Lisa of Tye, and Debi Olsen and husband Ted of Abilene. Grandchildren Kendra Bloom and husband Bryan of Colorado Springs, CO, Ashleigh Brazelton and husband Bradley of Trent, Ashten Wilkinson of Abilene, Rowdy Wilkinson and wife Cheyenne of Snyder, Nathan Olsen of Abilene, and great grandchildren Adalyn Bloom, Brynleigh Brazelton, Raeleigh Brazelton and Rusty Wilkinson: brother Don Babcock and wife Mary of Morrison, CO. Sister-in-law Blanch Lane of Snyder. Brother-in-law Truett Bruns and wife Jerry of Roscoe.

Service for Mrs. Bruns will be held at 2PM Friday, February 25, 2022 at Trinity United Methodist with Rev. Larry Rodgers officiating.  Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be held from 6 to 7PM, Thursday at Bell-Cypert -Seale
