Stanley "Doug" Mcminn

Mr. Stanley Douglas McMinn, 79 of Rocky Mount, North Carolina went to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, May 6 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, at Hillside Memorial Gardens Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Reverend Clay Giddens will officiate. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Stanley Doug" McMinn was born in Carlsbad, Eddy county, New Mexico on August 05, 1939 to Clarence McMinn and Helen (Stout) McMinn. He moved to Snyder, Texas in 1953. At an early age Doug served in the Navy and worked in the oil fields, surrounding Snyder. He became a welder, working on off shore drilling sites around the world and laying pipe across the United States. Doug loved to share stories about his experiences.
