Stephen was born on November 18, 1985 at 11:35 PM in Rotan, Texas to Joe and Brenda Adames. Stephen was welcomed home by his big sister Joanie and his big brother JD. Stephen lived most of his life in Sweetwater; he is a 2004 graduate of Sweetwater High School.

He met and fell in love with Holly Head in Sweetwater, TX. They were married on February 8, 2008 in Rotan, Texas. Together, they have 1 son Bryce AKA "Bubba." The three made their home in Rotan where Stephen worked for the City of Rotan. They later moved to Ballinger where Stephen began working for WTX Oilfield. They then moved  to Snyder, where Stephen continued working for WTX, he later went to work for Apache OIlfield Corporation. Stephen loved what he did and did what he loved working in the oilfield, where he met some of his best friends. Stephen was a "Gentle Giant" with a huge heart of gold. He loved BBQing, listening to loud music, fishing, hunting, painting, drawing, welding, and doing wood work. Stephen learned these and much more from his dad, whom he was close to. Stephen loved getting together with his family and friends. Stephen will truly be missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Holly Adames and son Bryce of Snyder.

His parents Joe and Brenda of Snyder,

Brother J.D. Adames and wife Amy of Sweetwater;

Nephews: Josh, Logan, Coby, Joseph and Edward of Sweetwater; and Rylan of Snyder,

Sister Joanie Figueroa and husband Enrique of Sweetwater,

Nieces: Makenna and Jaylee of Sweetwater, Shelby and Daisie of Snyder, and Karly of Rotan.

Great Nephew: Kace Brouilette of Snyder,

Grandmother Estella Adames of Sweetwater,

Mother and Father In Law Ronnie and Karla Head of Snyder,

Sister in Law Stacy Head of Snyder and Alicia Rauch of Rotan.

As well as numerous Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins.

Stephen is proceeded in death by Grandfather Jose Adames Sr., Grandparents David and Ouida Haywood, Great Aunt Josie Adames, Cousins Jeannie Argumaniz, Jared Foster, Jennifer Birdwell, and numerous family and friends that welcomed him home to Heaven. Stephen departed this life on November 13, 2020 surrounded by his family.
