Terrie Jo Jones McWilliams, age 56, passed away on March 26, 2024 surrounded by her family after a lengthy battle with cancer.  Terrie was born on July, 14 1967 in Batesville, AR to George and Sharon Jones. She grew up in Dallas, Tx and attended Bryan Adams High School. She later attended Baylor University acquiring a BBA in Insurance and Finance. She furthered her education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, earring a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Terrie wore many hats throughout her time in Snyder, serving as an adjunct professor at Western Texas College, playing the piano for many junior high and high school choirs and theatre department performances, and volunteering for numerous occasions in the community. Above all, she considered her greatest job to be a wife to her husband and mother to her three daughters. Terrie married Mike McWilliams on October 13, 1990 in Dallas, TX. They  moved back to Snyder, TX in November 1994, and went on to have three daughters. Terrie is survived by her husband, Mike, and their three daughters: Megan Cragle and husband Caulin, Sarah McWilliams, and Kate McWilliams. She was a proud grandmother to her two grandchildren, William and Caroline Cragle. She is also survived by her brother, Jon Jones, his wife Sara, and their two children, Abby and Wyatt.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

Terrie was a lover of people and life, making friends everywhere she went. She was passionate about things she loved and just as passionate about things that should be changed. She was gracious to a fault and loved honestly and deeply. Everyone had a place at her well-set table, and she lived to serve others. Her infectious personality and inclusiveness will be missed by many. Scripture promises that while she is now absent from us, she is healed and present with the Lord.
