Thomas "Shorty" Nathan Cartwright

Mr. Thomas "Shorty" Nathan Carthwright  age 89 of Snyder died on Friday, February 8, 2019 in Lubbock.

Services for Mr. Cartwright will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Williams officiating.  Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Cartwright was born on November 5, 1929 in Houston, TX to Joseph and Ella Cartwright.  He served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge.  He married Gladys Beatrice on January 12, 1967.  She preceded him in death.  Thomas worked in maintenance at Snyder Oaks and Pool Drilling Company for many years.

He is survived by his son, Wesley Cartwright of Conroe, TX; daughter, Helen Huddler of Vidor, TX; daughter-in-law, Trisha Dodson and husband Lewis of Ira, TX; several grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Gladys and his daughter, Onita May.
