Verna Jo Williamson

In loving memory of our mother, Verna Jo Savage Williamson, 82, of Hermleigh Texas, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on August 24, 2022.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Verna Jo Savage Williamson was born on July 14, 1940, to Russell and Alene Savage in Odessa Texas, and immediately brought joy and laughter into the world.

Jimmy Don Williamson and Verna Jo Savage were married on June 6, 1958, and remained together for 63 years.  They had 4 children.

Verna Jo Savage Williamson was predeceased by her parents Russell and Alene Savage, spouse, Jimmy Don Williamson, son-in-law Brian Stephens, and sister Sandra Gray.  She is survived by, son Joe Don Williamson (Tracy), son James Williamson (Irma), son John Williamson (Lori) daughter Jacqueline Stephens, sister Kathy McMinn and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral home in Snyder Texas.  There will be a visitation on August 26, 2022, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at Bell Cypert Seale Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held on August 27, 2022, at 2:00pm at Bell Cypert Seale Funeral Home with Hospice Chaplain Kinney Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Pyron Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bell Cypert Seale Funeral Home
