Mr. Wayland Ross Huddleston, 84, of San Angelo,TX, previously of Snyder, Texas died on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Good Life Assisted Living Center.
A Funeral Service for Mr. Huddleston will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Huddleston officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Huddleston was born on October 10, 1938, in Knapp, TX to Andy Ross and Hazel Etoil (Jordan) Huddleston. He married Bettie Margaret Carlile and had 2 children: Tina Autry and husband Jimmy of Christoval, Texas and Tim Huddleston and wife Connie of Snyder, Texas. He later married Nelda June Matthews on August 12, 1967, in Snyder. She preceded him in death on August 9, 2021. They had a daughter, Melissa McCollough and husband Brian of Lititz, PA.
He had 3 loves in his life: Family, Farming, and Flying, with family being the most important. He always had a big smile, a large heart, and was quite the prankster. He farmed until retirement in 2019 and was a member of several local and state committees. He was an avid pilot, a member of Scurry County Pilot Association, and served on the Scurry County Airport Board. He enjoyed hunting in his younger years and later fishing on the south Concho with his grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his

2 Brothers, Billy Huddleston and Johnny Huddleson
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 6 PM to 7 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
