He grew the small family- owned business to a thriving company with 5 locations. Snyder Iron & Metal also has locations in Andrews, Big Spring, Sweetwater and Anson.
Chris was always stiving to grow bigger and do more. He was highly intelligent and a fierce competitor. He had a vast knowledge of many things that he contributed to his Father. Whatever he was interested in he was obsessed with. He had a vast range of interests from playing sports to riding motorcross, racing hot rods and building motors. Every vehicle he owned had to be fast. He ran local softball and football leagues and served as Area Director for USSSA all while traveling and playing with his team "Snyder Iron". Later on he took great enjoyment in coaching his son's youth sporting events and anything his son was involved in. Many youth he coached over the years loved him and still call him "Coach".
Chris has been a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan and he and his family have shared many good times attending football games. He would talk football with anyone and could recite player stats and game plays from any game that he has ever watched or played.
