Wyvone Brooks Davis

Mrs. Wyvone Brooks Davis, 98, of Snyder,TX died on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Goodlife Senior Living Center in Snyder.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Davis will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Sara Core officiating. Internment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Davis was born on December 6, 1925 in Snyder, TX to Clifton and Mildred (Nail) Brooks. She married Jessie Mayo Davis, better known as Mayo, on November 30, 1948 in Baird, Texas. He preceded her in death. Wyvone graduated from high school and went on to nursing school but after a short term of nursing found her pride in being a homemaker. She was a member of the Algerian Daughter's Study Club, a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Snyder and a fierce Bridge player.

She is survived by

1 Grandson,

Jeff Davis, Arlington, TX;

1 Sister In Law,

Gaye Brooks, Weatherford, TX;

and 2 Great Grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her

Parents, Clifton and Mildred Brooks;

Husband, Mayo Davis;

2 Sons,

David and Benny Davis;

2 Sisters,

Woncile McNott and Silfia Lammert;

and 1 brother,

Joe Nail Brooks.

Visitation will be held prior to her funeral service on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 1 PM to 2 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
