Clara Luvenia Fowler, longtime resident of Ira, died Wednesday, October 09, 2013 at her residence in Snyder.
Services for Mrs. Fowler, 82, will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Rev. Rocky Alexander officiating. Interment will follow at Ira Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Fowler was born to Essie and Lillie (Lee)Taylor on March 7, 1931 in Scurry County. She was married to Horace Fowler on April 17, 1948 in Ira, Texas. He passed away on June 30, 1993. A homemaker, Mrs. Fowler was a member of Ira Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Pearl Nettles.
Survivors include a son and daughter in law Bob and Kathy Fowler of Snyder; three sisters; Oleta Hamje of Dallas, Sue and husband Tommy Cotton of Snyder and Edith Dawson of Colorado City; a brother John Taylor of O'Brien; two grandchildren, Emilee and husband Phillip Suchil and Stacey Taylor, all of Lubbock; and three great grandchildren, Cody Morrow, Ian Suchil and Akylah Taylor, all of Lubbock. Luvenia was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and special friends Juanita Hester, Mildred Johnson, Bobbie Taylor, Virgina Wade, Linda Chapa, Francis Reyna, and many, many more.
