Mrs. Anna Marie Reed, 85 of Lake J.B. Thomas, TX died on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Lake J.B.Thomas.
Graveside Service for Mrs. Reed will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at 10:00 AM at Gail Cemetery, Gail, Texas with Bill Dixon officiating. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Anna was born on December 11, 1932 in Dallas, TX. She was the youngest of nine children born to Charles Henry and Priska Agnes (Ehrlich) Faulhaber. The brother closest in age to Anna was 12 years her senior. She grew up in a family of adults during World War II.
Anna married Billy Bruce Dixon on May 1951 in Dallas, TX. Immediately after their marriage Billy was inducted in the Army due to the Korean conflict. Anna and Billy had four children: Renny Jean, born August 29, 1954 and Teri Ann born October 3, 1955, both in Dallas, TX; Billy Bruce II born February 4, 1958 and Clay Aaron born July 2, 1959 both in Santa Monica CA. This marriage ended in divorce in December 1961. She then moved back to Dallas and lived with her parents and worked at Biggs AFB until the base closing. She then went to work at Fort Bliss Army Base until a job at Reese AFB became available. She then moved to Lubbock, Texas and again taught school at the AFB.
Anna married Bobby Joe Reed on July 05, 1968 in Lubbock, Texas. She and the four children then moved to his home in Shallowwater, TX. He had Reed Implement Company on Shallowater, TX. They had been married 50 years. She worked at Reese AFB until Texas Instruments moved into Lubbock in 1973.
She retired from Texas Instruments with 20 years in service. Bob Reed retired and sold his business at the the same time. They resideded at Lake J.B. Thomas.
Anna was Secretary/Treasurer for Lubbock SOH Lodge for 8 years, Secretary/Treasurer for Hermleigh Sons of Hermann Lodge for 10 years, Jr. Vice President of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxilary, Lubbock Post 2466 for one year. President of Military Order of Cooties Auxilary Post 2466 for one year.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 16, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
