Mrs. Freda Rayvon, 83, of Snyder, TX, died on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Rayvon will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Faith Baptist Church with Pastor Rick Owens officiating. Interment will follow at Snyder Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Freda Rayvon was born on March 20, 1939, in Atoka, OK to Austin Carl and Bertha Beula (Munholland) Jones. She married Clarence Rayvon in Snyder, and they enjoyed many years together before he preceded her in death. She was a devoted member of Faith Baptist Church since the 1970s and being a Christian was the most important part of her life. Outside of her church membership, she spent her career as a registered nurse at Cogdell Memorial Hospital. She proudly retired from Cogdell in 2010. Aside from her family, she had 2 dogs that brought her much joy in life: Lucy and Tilly.
She is survived by
2 Daughters and Sons in Law,
Melinda and Husband Tommy Hunley, Kerrville, TX, and
Carolyn and Husband Dr. Jack Campbell, Christoval, TX;
1 Son,
Jeff Pippen, Snyder, TX; and
1 Sister,
Doretha Isbell, Fairfield, TX;
13 Grandchildren, and
28 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her
Husband,
Clarence Rayvon;
Parents,
Austin and Bertha Jones;
1 Son,
Roy Pippen;
1 Sister,
Lavon Monds; and
1 Brother,
John Carl Jones.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2022, from 1 PM to 2 PM at Faith Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall.
